Education
1959 left secondary school No.1 of Stepanekert.
1960 - 1965 studied in Polytechnical Institute of Yerevan.
Career Experience
1965 - 1969 worked in electrical equipment all-union research institute as a technician, then as an engineer, chief engineer, designer.
1969 - 1971 was a chief designer in microelectronics institute.
1971 - 1990 worked in electrical mechanical engineering research institute as a leader of group, head of sub department, then a deputy head of department, head of department, deputy director, senior scientific researcher.
1990 - 1992 was a principal expert of the special affairs department of RA.
1992 - 1992 was a deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of NKR.
1998 - 1999 was the NKR Prime Minister.
Personal Status
Married, has two children.
